HOW TO OVERCOME BURNOUT💪
Burnout is something that one can recover from. In order to begin the process of healing, you'll recognize the signs your body and mind give you, those are good indicators.
1.TAKE A BREAK : personally this has helped many people to get results they wanted. Go for that vacation you've always dreamed of, attend those dancing classes, go out to watch movies and enjoy time with friends and family. It's amazing how this helps you cool down and realize it's okay to accept that you can never be perfect and things take time but your mental wellness is a priority.
2. PRACTICE MEDITATION AND AWARENESS: If you are ever stressed out try meditating. There are many approaches for this exercise but most common one is try to focus on your breathing for 5 minutes breath in and out and watch the magic happens!! Become aware of your thoughts, feelings and emotions and learn how to dismiss those self-defeating talks and thoughts you can silence those voices.
3. SEEK SUPPORT: Talk to someone, friends around you even family these people also at some point struggled with such feelings of shame and hopelessness. Feeling incapable or not enough does not make you weak, it proves you are human. You are not alone someone else suffered the same and overcame so you also shall overcome. Admit to yourself that there is a problem and start cultivating habits to address it, things take time don't blame yourself if it doesn't go away immediately.
4. FOCUS ON THE SIMPLE BASIC STUFF: You'd be surprised how the little things you've been ignoring like a balance diet has huge effect in your productivity. Are you having enough sleep? Disconnect from the internet for a while and so some low simulation activities like reading a book or cooking rather than staying in bed all day. Consider what makes you happy , take that walk on the park visit that local
library, a quick jog in the morning, those bike ridding activities. Figure out what brings you joy in your life.5. REDEFINE YOUR GOALS AND YOUR VALUES: What do you value in life? How much are you willing to give up in order to get that high paying job? Is it truly worth it to you or it's someone else telling you it's worth it. Identify your values do you value security? Do you value profit? Do you value your time with friends and family. What do you what out of life or your job? Do you find yourself spending more time on project management 9not your dream job) than creating products( your dream job)? Maybe it's time to reassess.
